Phishing Alert!

RELAX, IT WAS JUST A TEST!

The email you just received was delivered as part of the Security Awareness Campaign. You are seeing this page because you clicked the link contained within the email. Had this been a real attack, your company could have been compromised as a result.

PHISHING INDICATORS

  1. Check the email address. If the sender is from an unusual domain it's probably a phish.

  2. Be suspicious of emails with generic salutations. They could be an indicator that a seemingly personal email went to a lot of people.

  3. Be suspicious of emails which ask for an immediate action to be taken. That means that an attacker is expecting you to take action without thinking.

  4. Be careful with links. Hover over the link first and check that the destination matches the link.

  5. Be suspicious of emailed links to well established/well known internal websites. This is a common technique used to divert you to a spoof version of a site that you frequently access.

  6. If the link clicked, be suspicious of unfamiliar website addresses in the browser address bar and unfamiliar web page layouts.

  7. Be suspicious of grammatical errors, unfamiliar style of writing from the sender or content that just doesn’t seem to make sense.
