It is a policy of Catholic Education Commission Schools NSW policy , that a limit
of two superusers , (the principal and assistant principalPrincipal and Assistant Principal)
are to be present at a school at any one time. All changes to superuser status at
CECNSW schools any Catholic School must be carried out by CECNSW SMART support appsupport@csnsw.catholic.edu.au and schools may not
change superuser statuses themselves.

The principal of a school is the main superuser at that location. They are able to add users to the staff list, as well as provision access to SMART. It is strongly recommended that NSW independent Independent schools and ACT schools do not have more than two superusers at any one time. Other users at a school, a principal may wish to have superuser status, could be a deputy/assistant principal or school administrative manager.

The principal Principal is responsible for maintaining any additional superuser’s account access. This involves extending the superuser’s expiry date and removing authorisation if that superuser leaves the location.
