Issue: I Can’t Log In to the Extranet Portal

If you are unable to log into the Extranet portal, the following message will be displayed:

This is due to one of the following:

  1. You are logging into the NSW Department of Education portal instead of the Extranet (https://extranet.det.nsw.edu.au).

  2. You did not enter your password correctly or you have forgotten your password.

  3. Your account has expired.

Before you request a password reset, please attempt to login through https://extranet.det.nsw.edu.au

Resolution: Forgotten passwords

1. Click “Forgot your password” and follow the prompts.

2. If this does not work:

For teachers: Your principal will need to reset your password and possibly reactivate your account if this is not successful.

For principals: Please contact your Diocesan Officer for an Extranet access extension and/or a password reset.
