PPSD/NCCD Roles and Who Should Have Them

  • Standard - Standard access to the Personalised Planning tool. Everyone who needs access to the personalised planning tool gets this role.

    • PPSD Reports

      • Individual Student Reports

        • Full Report - All sections of the student’s report

        • Goals and Adjustments Report - A sub-set of sections relating only to Goals & Adjustments sections

        • Summary Parent Report - User selectable sectional report with only the sections that the user deems necessary for whatever usecase they have; parent meeting, etc.

  • Report - This goes along with Standard access, and people with this role see the green “Report” buttons at the top of Student Management and in the individual PPSD screens. These report buttons include access to the following reports depending one where the user works; School or Diocesan office:

    • Student Management Reports

      • Per Diocese PPSD, NCCD, and summary Reports

      • Per School PPSD, NCCD, Student Management Reports

      • Historical Census Reports

  • Administrator - This role is reserved for a small number of CSNSW staff.

  • NCCD Principal - This is used during census time and is given to a single person at each school, either the actual Principal, or their declaration delegate.  (e.g. assistant principal or similar senior executive-level staff member) This role is responsible for declaring that the NCCD data for each student is correct. They also declare the data for the August non-gov school census process.

  • NCCD Confirmation Unlocker - This is also used around census.  This is generally people at the diocese level who can unlock a school’s declaration of the NCCD data by the NCCD Principal user. The unlocking of the Principal's Confirmation may be required if there is new information that shows the record in the NCCD system is wrong.  This role can unlock the declared school’s data and allow the NCCD Principal user to go back into the system, correct the data and re-declare.

  • NCCD Moderator - NCCD Moderators are generally senior members of the diocese's specialist support team who have significant experience with supporting schools through the NCCD. They have high-level permissions after the NCCD section closes to users (usually during July each year) to add, edit or remove a student in the NCCD section (after consultation with each school)
