What if I cannot supply the requested data in the timeframe provided?
We are very aware that Census period brings a significant increase in workload within a short timeframe. If you have concerns about being able to provide the data we have requested within the timeframe provided, please contact the team at Catholic Schools NSW as soon as you can so that we can discuss options. We will focus on working with you to understand what is practical and possible.
What if I have questions or need help?
You can contact the team at any time for assistance. For support, please follow the instructions on Getting Support from CSNSW. If you would like to discuss the documentation or get a more detailed briefing on the process, you can book a briefing on this Data Collection.
Can I test my data files before the reference date?
We will open the system ahead of time, ready for data submissions, and you can log in and test your data files before the submission date to familiarise yourself with the process.
You can complete this process as often as needed; only the last submitted file will be used.
If you need information on preparing and uploading your data, see our documentation page: Uploading data for Census.
If there is any change to this process, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Things to keep in mind
Please download the ‘School NCCD Report at time of Census’ after the NCCD data has been confirmed with CSNSW. Before the census, make sure you have the correct access in SchoolsHub for your schools and request access if needed.
The Census opens in SchoolsHUB on Monday, July 28th, 2025. Log onto SchoolsHub and make sure all the information is correct.
If the Principal’s name on the Contact section of the Census is incorrect, please note it and inform CSNSW. This will not impact your ability to declare the data in SchoolsHub. AGDoE will not make any changes once the census has commenced, but will act on this after the census.
Please do not include student names and disability information in responses to warnings.
Diocese/schools should always download the All Census Detail Report from SchoolsHub after each data declaration and verify the data is correct. The Census Detail Report is very helpful in resolving issues in the data submitted to CSNSW and the data declared in SchoolsHub.
Diocese School Office data submissions must be made directly to SchoolsHub and not CSNSW.
